What is GB WhatsApp?

GB WhatsApp is an alternate version of WhatsApp that you won’t find on the Google Play Store. It is a completely different application that one can download through an APK.

Back in 2019, WhatsApp started banning accounts on a temporary basis that were found to be associated with GB WhatsApp.

WhatsApp even cleared that if users do not switch to the original WhatsApp after being temporarily banned, their account “might be permanently banned.”

Dangers of using GB WhatsApp

It is true that the clone app extends our WhatsApp using experience with some exciting features, but another truth is that it takes away the very essence of real or official WhatsApp messaging – end to end encryption.

Note: WhatsApp deters WA account holders from being a victim of privacy infringement through the practice of using such apps.

In addition, on multiple occasions several APK download links of GB WhatsApp have been detected to be infected with malware, exposing users to an attack. WhatsApp thus recommends users to use the original app for these security reasons.

Lambda variant: New Covid variant detected…

Recently, scientists have detected a new COVID Variant in Peru. The name of this new variant is ‘Lambda’ and WHO has classified it as a ‘Variant of Interest’. According to the WHO, the Lambda variant is associated with 81% of the cases identified in Peru, since April.

The Covid-19 variants have continued to wreak havoc all over the globe. After Alpha (B.1.1.7); Beta (B.1.351); Gamma (P.1); Epsilon (B.1.427 and B.1.429); Delta (B.1.617.2); and Delta Plus variant, another covid variant has been identified in the world, named Lambda variant.

Last week, the UK health department it to the list of ‘variants under investigation’ (VUI) due to international expansion. Six cases of Lambda variant (C.37) have been recognised across the UK to date, all have been associated with overseas travel.

This new Covid variant was first discovered in Peru, South America. And the WHO has classified it as a “Variant of Interest” on June 14. The World Health Organisation said the Lambda variant has multiple mutations in the spike protein that could influence its transmissibility but more researches are needed to thoroughly understand the mutations.

Here’s all you need to know about the Lambda variant:

The C.37 variant and Lambda variant has already been announced as highly widespread in Peru.
The new Covid variant lies within the B.1.1.1 lineage.
As per the WHO, the new Covid variant is associated with 81% of the cases identified in Peru, since April.
The Lambda variant has been recognised in as many as 29 countries, including Europe, Oceania North and South Am.

So far, India has identified Delta and Delta Plus Covid variants. However, specialists assume that the opening of international air travel might bring other variants, including Lambda in India

FAU-G was first advertised by Akshay Kumar in September last year, post PUB-G ban. Akshay had launched the Fearless and United Guards (FAU-G) on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day of India in January this year.

FAU-G: Game Development

The game has been developed by nCore Games, which is a Bangalore based studio. It is now is available on the Play Store and Apple App Store.

While announcing the same, Akshay had tweeted, “Supporting PM @narendramodi’s AtmaNirbhar movement, proud to present an action game, Fearless And United-Guards FAU-G. Besides entertainment, players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers. 20 per cent of the net revenue generated will be donated to @BharatKeVeer Trust #FAUG”.

“This was possibly one of the most difficult shoots I have ever done. We shot over four days and every day I had to sit in the water for hours. I have always feared sharks and in this tank, there were a lot of baby sharks,” Poonam says.

“I had to be underwater and lip-sync the song. It was supremely difficult. I used to shiver and this has to be the craziest shoot that I have ever done. I hope people like it,” she signs off.

Mumbai: 21 cases of the Delta plus have been found in Maharashtra. The highest 9 cases od this new variant of COVID-19 have been reported in Ratnagiri, followed by 7 in Jalgaon, 2 in Mumbai, and one case each in Sindhudurg, Palghar and Thane districts, Rajesh Tope told reporters on Monday.

As per the latest updates and researches, this new variant of covid-19 – Delta Plus is being considered highly infectious and that is why the government is tagging it as a “Variant of Concern”.

If talking about the whole country status of this new variant of Covid-19, there are 40 cases identified in India. 21 Delta Plus Variant Cases in Maharastra and the remaining cases of Covid variant have come to light in Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.

What is the Delta plus variant of COVID-19?

The latest Delta plus COVID-19 variant is a result of a mutation in the Delta or B.1.617.2 variant, that one of the drivers of the deadly second wave in India. There is no information yet of the severity of the disease due to Delta plus. It is resistant to the monoclonal antibody cocktail treatment recently authorised in India for COVID-19 treatment.

INSACOG has told that the new variant has properties of increased transmissibility, potential reduction in monoclonal antibody response and stronger binding to receptors of lung cells.

Delta Plus may trigger 3rd Wave in Maharashtra

Last week, the Maharashtra health department said the newly known ‘Delta plus’ variant may trigger a 3rd wave in the state.

Thackeray directed officials to be ready to deal with any situation in terms of the availability of beds, medicines and other necessary resources.
