What is Good Friday?
Good Friday is also globally recognised by many other names. Some of them includes such as Easter Friday, Great Friday, Black Friday, Gottes Freitag, Holy Friday or God’s Friday and Mourning Friday. This is one of the most important events in Christianity.
Why is it called ‘Good Friday’?
No one really knows for sure from where the title “Good Friday” came from. There are several theories on this topic. Many consider that the “Good” signifies “Holy”, while some think that “Good” is practised in replace of “God.”
