AIIMS servers are still down for the sixth day in a row, Hackers have allegedly demanded a ransom of Rs 200 crore. Hospital officials are worried about the breach.
This breach was discovered on Wednesday morning last week and may have compromised the medical records or data of 3–4 crore patients.
According to some reliable sources, Investigating agencies advised disabling internet access on hospital computers. Patient care services for outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and laboratory wings are being managed manually while things become normal.
Delhi Police and the Ministry of Home Affairs, are looking into this ransomware attack with the India Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN).
Servers at AIIMS that are required for hospital services are being scanned and cleaned by the NIC team for infections.
